Job Description
Continental Technology Solutions is seeking a Hadoop Admin with 5-7+ years of experience in implementation and administration of Hadoop infrastructure, as well as expertise in troubleshooting and system capacity analysis.
Requirements
- 5 – 7 + years of experience in Implementation and Administration of Hadoop infrastructure
- Operational expertise in troubleshooting, understanding of system's capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks
- Hadoop, MapReduce, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Spark, Oozie
- Hadoop Administration skills: Experience working in MApr/HDP/Cloudera or Ambari
- Exposure to setting up Ad/LDAP/Kerberos Authentication models
- Experience in Shell scripting and exposure to Python
- Knowledge of Troubleshooting Core Java Applications
- Exposure to Real-time Execution engines like Spark, Storm, Kafka
- Well experienced with Linux systems
- Able to install, configure and fine tune Mapr clusters.
- Experienced with trouble shooting hadoop application maprreduce jobs, hive, pig, hbase
- Experienced with leading Big-data admin team onsite/offshore
- Experienced with Hadoop upgrades and troubleshooting.
