Continental Technology Solutions is a consulting and managed services company that delivers resources and capabilities to assess, design, build, and manage an agile IT environment. The Java Developer will work with a dedicated team to develop or modify moderately complex software programming applications.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology
- At least 5 years of job experience programming in Java
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum processes
- Experience developing highly scalable clustered JEE systems
- Fluent in J2EE Design Patterns
- Experience developing APIs and integration with 3rd party systems
- Experience developing in Unix or Linux environments
- Experience with Web Application Servers
- Experience with MySQL
- Experience with O/R frameworks
- Experience with EJB3
- Experience with Maven
- Experience with JUNIT and Mockito
- Experience with GIT
- Strong testing, configuration and deployment skills
- Effective and efficient problem solver
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience developing financial transaction applications
