We are seeking an experienced Quality Metrology Technician to support the engineering and manufacturing teams by programming and operating precision measurement tools, inspecting and certifying parts and fixtures, and maintaining accurate inspection data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 6-8 years of experience in PCMM programming skills in Polyworks, and hands-on experience using with Hexagon or Faro metrology tools
- 5+ years of experience in DCC CMM programming skills in PCDMIS Software, and hands on experience using with Hexagon or Faro metrology tools (Dual Arm CMM is a Plus)
- Experience with ATOS Blue Light System is a plus
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing ( GD&T, ASME Y14.5 )
- Experience creating and approving first article inspections with working knowledge of the tools required for inspection
- Ability to identify/recognize inspection errors and nonconformances and initiate corrective action
- Ability to identify and recognize inspection errors and non-conformances
