Job description
The division is looking for a Senior Java Developer to work as part of its team to be responsible for the development and maintenance of its web-based projects that meet both technical requirements and business objectives. The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Lahore, Islamabad or Karachi resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Setting technical direction, defining best practices, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural principles. Determining the overall structure of the application, selecting appropriate technologies, and designing scalable and maintainable solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining web applications, 6+ years of experience with Java, and 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies. They will be able to design software using industry standard technologies, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to debug and troubleshoot issues in applications efficiently.
