Job description
The division is looking for a Senior Java Developer – Team Lead with Solution Architect–level experience, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web-based projects that meet both technical requirements and business objectives.
Lead team of developers, ensure timely delivery of project milestones, define application’s architecture and technology stack, act as a Solution Architect, lead creation of technical design documents, review and contribute to design and architecture documents, foster a collaborative team culture, resolve technical challenges, work closely with other team members, offer guidance and support to team members, ensure code reviews, validate implementation aligns with approved architecture, act as a point of escalation, contribute to resource planning, task allocation, and performance evaluations.
The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Lahore, Islamabad or Karachi office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. The role requires a strong understanding of architectural patterns, problem-solving skills, experience in leading and mentoring a development team, ownership mentality, strong understanding of core Java concepts, good understanding of unit tests, performing code reviews, and ensuring the quality and reliability of code.
