Job Description
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count raw materials and finished goods. They need to follow company procedures, maintain equipment, and maintain accurate records. This role involves a combination of manual labor and monitoring company databases.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED diploma preferred
- Valid forklift operator license or CPC certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a forklift operator
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to locate and disburse product
- Physical requirements for stooping, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and standing for prolonged periods
