The Risk Consultant is responsible for providing support, advice and monitoring to multiple Control Risks clients across the world, including providing general security support, risk monitoring and updates, and responding to crisis situations.
Requirements
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Bachelorās degree in international relations, politics, security studies, criminal justice or a related field, OR equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 yearsā experience in GSOCs, military, NGO, or corporate security operations (preferred 5 years combined experience)
- Crisis management and ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress environments
- Global awareness and ability to assess operational impacts across various sectors and industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in security risk assessments, physical security, or security operations and planning
- Ability to act discreetly and apply company policies appropriately
