Lead Controls Engineer

We're looking for a Lead Controls Engineer based in [State]. This is a Full-Time position requiring 3–7+ years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering is strongly preferred. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the production of various types of equipment and systems. A key competency is the ability to research, test, implement, and analyze improvements for system and process effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
• 3–7+ years of work experience in a related field
• Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley required)
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Fanuc robotics strongly preferred
• Experience with Ethernet/IP devices, printers, barcode scanners, and PCs preferred
• Lead support in defining equipment standards for both new and existing equipment
• Oversee and direct maintenance of all controls and documentation related to production equipment
• Establish and maintain all equipment controls and electrical systems required to support manufacturing
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to determine customer needs and develop project specifications and scope
• Ability to interpret and implement technical specifications
