The Professional Educator acts as the primary education partner and responsible in driving best-in-class educational activities to improve product adoption by establishing value propositions for the responsible portfolio in the targeted institutions/ healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Requirements
- Plan, conduct, and facilitate structured educational programs, CMEs, workshops, and bedside trainings in targeted accounts to enhance awareness, knowledge, and product adoption, aligning with sales force and marketing team
- Coordinate with identified HCPs for speaker presentations to be presented in conferences, workshops, etc., liaise with faculty for the consultancy agreement, arrange for payment of services as per FMV
- Create approved scientific and product-related content and presentations for the Convatec educational programs such as workshops etc.
- Support the implementation of protocols of care in targeted hospitals
- Build and maintain professional relationships with identified HCPs in assigned hospitals
- Respond to clinical queries related to product usage, indications, and application techniques
- Educate/guide ethically and according to the franchise protocols
- Support the sales team by providing clinical inputs to customers' pain-points identification, and clinical selling competency during the sales cycle
- Assist in training needs within hospitals and planning need-based educational interventions
- Support marketing initiatives including awareness campaigns, conferences, and key account programs, by delivering clinical education in-hospital support and assisting in development of sales communication materials
- Facilitate internal training programs on clinical applications, evidence, and products
- Share fields insights, clinical feedback, and unmet needs from hospitals with sales and marketing teams to support effective customer engagement
- Maintain records of education activities (e.g., CME, ISPs, conferences, workshops, etc.), hospital visits, and feedback from HCPs as per the Convatec compliance documents requirements
- Gather customer feedback/insights on new product launch, product improvement, development, and therapy level needs and share findings with the relevant teams
- Ensure all interactions comply with Convatec policies, local regulations, and ethical standards
- Support approved scientific and promotional messaging
