Job Description
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides high quality, holistic, evidence based anesthesia to the patient population, practicing in collaboration with an Anesthesiologist and assuming care of patients at all acuity levels in various settings.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia
- Masters of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice
- Certification/Licensure:
- Texas professional registered nurse license and advance practice nurse license
- Recognition from the State Board of Nurse Examiners as an Advanced Practice Nurse
- Certified or re-certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Basic Life Support (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
