Job Description
Provides intake assessments, family therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services for psychiatric inpatients, PHP, ER, and discharged patients. Participates in group therapy, multi-disciplinary treatment, and diagnostic conferences.
Requirements
- Master's level in Social Work or related field
- Experience in family therapy
- Hospital experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Child growth and development education required
- Licensed by State of Texas: LMSW, LCSW or LPC
- CPR Heartsaver within 60 days of start date
- CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children's Control Position from Unit 8 must be completed within 60 days of start date
- Qualified as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) by the Texas Department of Health
