Food Safety Associate

CookUnity is a food delivery platform that connects customers with chefs. We are expanding our operations and seeking a Food Safety Associate to ensure a safe and clean environment in our facility.

Requirements

• Experience working in a high compliance food processing facility (USDA, FDA) or large volume food business with established food safety programs
• Experience working with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to speak in a professional manner to a wide range of partners and stakeholders
• Ability to build relationships and explain food safety concepts in plain language
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned duties without direct supervision
• Proficiency in G Suite/Google Workspace
• Team player with a positive, collaborative mindset
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to complete tasks in cold (coolers) or hot (kitchens) environments
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a physically demanding environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Bilingual English/Spanish
