Job Description
CookUnity is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to ensure a sustainable and safe environment in their kitchens. This role involves monitoring food safety regulations, performing quality checks, ensuring proper labeling, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with other departments. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and team player with a commitment to following food safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Monitor food production and ensure Chef adherence to food safety regulations.
- Perform critical checks including refrigeration, chemical concentration, and temperature checks.
- Communicate kitchen rules to Chefs and ensure facility compliance.
- Perform facility and department audits to correct issues and ensure food safety.
- Work with other departments (Kitchen Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance) to correct issues.
