CookUnity is looking for an Operations Manager to provide a best-in-class experience to eaters and chefs. The role involves managing labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures for CookUnity's fulfillment and logistics department. As an Operations Manager, you'll manage a team of 90-100 associates and provide direction and goals for process improvements to improve reliability, efficiency, and long-term costs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience in order fulfillment, transportation, and/or warehouse management operations
- Effective project management skills, well-versed in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
- Proficiency with Google apps (Gmail, drive, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Experience using large databases and e-commerce frameworks (we use Magento and OnFleet)
- Ability to look around corners to anticipate problems before they arise, with a proactive approach to innovation
- Proven ability to effectively motivate and manage a high-performing team
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Excitement for working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
