As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of construction equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and making required repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of mechanical experience, preferably working on a variety of construction equipment.
- Heavy Equipment Technician License is an asset but is not required.
- Available and willing to work over-time as needed.
- Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.
- Expertise in diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong focus on following procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technology.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
