Heavy Equipment Field Technician

Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking a customer-oriented, motivated Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join their professional team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction equipment and excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of mechanical experience working on a variety of construction equipment
• Valid class G driver's license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract
• 421A or 310T license is an asset, or equivalent work experience
• Must have own tools
• Must be available and willing to work overtime and as part of an on-call rotation as needed
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors
• Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Customer-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
