Job Description
Staff Scientist, Genomics at CooperSurgical: A leading fertility and women’s healthcare company seeking a full-time Staff Scientist, Genomics to provide technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory, including test methodology selection, quality control, and technical problem resolution.
Requirements
- Experience in a regulated clinical laboratory environment meeting CLIA/CAP/NYS DOH/ISO 15189/ISO 13485 standards.
- Hands-on, wet lab experiments to evaluate existing genetic testing assays and improve them.
- Analyzing and interpreting genetic testing output from data analysis pipelines.
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and devising solutions and approaches for solving technical problems.
- Authoring or contributing to development of SOPs, work instructions, etc.
