Requirements

• Conduct engineering experiments on new materials, products, processes and/or procedures
• Take a major role in projects to optimize and improve existing materials, products, processes and/or procedures
• Leads individual project plan development, execution and reporting activities to support CoorsTek project management activities
• Devise advanced research methods and documents results and procedures
• Exercises responsibility for multiple pieces of processing and/or analytical equipment
• Recommend new or upgrades to existing process and test equipment
• Work collaboratively with the Operations and Commercial sectors of the company, providing guidance in his or her areas of expertise
• Promote the company’s safety culture and continuous improvement efforts
• Direct the activities of technicians
• Coordinate pilot-plant or initial production runs on new products or processes
