Job Description
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Aggeneys, overseeing civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with South African regulations and industry standards, and maintaining safety and quality throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Ensure all designs comply with South African regulations and engineering standards.
- Supervise the construction of structural and civil components to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, minimizing risk to workers and the environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders for cohesive project development.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, including design calculations, test results, and progress updates.
- Maintain accurate records of project milestones, changes, and issues.
- Develop maintenance plans for structural components, ensuring long-term safety and integrity.
- Conduct assessments of existing structures and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Incorporate sustainable practices into design and construction, minimizing environmental impact.
- Evaluate completed projects to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned into future projects.
