Job Description
Our client, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a Senior Projects Manager with a strong technical background and proven experience in electrical reticulation—including Medium Voltage (MV), High Voltage (HV), and Low Voltage (LV) systems.
Requirements
- Oversee the end-to-end management of renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Hybrid), with a focus on grid integration and reticulation infrastructure
- Manage MV, HV, and LV electrical design, construction, and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with Eskom, municipal and other utility provider standards
- Liaise with Eskom for grid code compliance, permitting, and power purchase agreements (PPA)
- Lead project teams and contractors, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule
- Develop project timelines, track milestones, and manage risks proactively
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, environmental and legal teams
- Provide regular progress reports to senior stakeholders
- Ensure SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality) standards are maintained on-site
