High Voltage Electrician

Coho Technology Solutions is looking for a High Voltage Electrician with experience supporting high voltage electric power distribution equipment. The selected candidate will be considered a Qualified Person and will maintain, repair, troubleshoot, monitor, install, and operate high voltage electrical systems.

Requirements

• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, monitor, install, and operate high voltage electrical systems
• Use all tools and equipment applicable to the high voltage electrician trade
• Operate equipment, detect deficiencies and make repairs, diagnose problems, and install devices, equipment, and parts
• Read and understand circuit diagrams of interconnects
• Read circuit diagrams and perform troubleshooting layout, and complete installation, modification, and repair on high voltage distribution systems
• Applied use of test equipment such as: oscilloscopes, power quality meters, insulation resistance tester, high potential tester, phase sticks, phase rotation meters, digital test equipment, other electrical test equipment, and cable locating and fault finding equipment
• Diagnose and determine corrective action for electric power-controlling equipment
