Utilities System Operator

Coho Technology Solutions is seeking a qualified Utility Systems Operator (USO) to support ongoing operations on San Clemente Island for our U.S. Navy customer. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary California certifications and a strong working knowledge of utility systems within a military or remote-site environment.

Requirements

• California Grade D2 Distribution System License
• California Grade T2 Wastewater Treatment License (for Wastewater and Industrial Wastewater Plant Operator)
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License
• Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating: Wastewater treatment systems, Industrial wastewater treatment plants
• Proficient in the use of tools, instruments, and equipment specific to the utility systems trade
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, technical manuals, and utility schematics
• Working knowledge of utility system interdependencies and their relationship with other trades
• Capable of basic utility-related mathematical calculations
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to identify, evaluate, and correct system deficiencies
• Familiarity with NAVFAC SW Safety and Health Requirement Manual, as well as applicable DoD, Navy, and NAVFAC regulations and standards
