Job Description
CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Underwriter. The role involves assisting the Underwriter with quoting, issuance, and maintenance of new and renewal business across Workers’ Compensation and Property & Casualty lines.
Requirements
- Prepare quotes based on set criteria/thresholds/revisions and instructions from Underwriting
- Assist in reviewing quotes in rating system pre-underwriting to ensure quality control for new and renewal business
- Solicit renewal information from broker/agency
- Quality assurance of below throughout the lifecycle of policy
- Bind & Issue Policies
- Review endorsement transactions, cancellation requests and non-renewals
- Provide clear, timely and professional communication to agency personnel
