Job Description
The Head Coach Varsity Girls Basketball position is responsible for coaching and advising students at Coral Academy of Science High School. The incumbent will develop a sound system for accountability, uphold CAS values, and work effectively with Athletic Department.
Requirements
- Provide guidance and direction for a school's sporting program
- Coordinate with staff, parents, and student-athletes on game and practice scheduling
- Maintain a professional demeanor reflective of CAS values
- Collaborate with Athletic Director on team apparel and equipment
- Assist with enforcing rules and regulations of head coach and CAS Athletics
- Develop a system for accountability, upkeep, and protection of equipment
- Communicate with students, parents, and coaches effectively
- Supervise equipment inventories and uniforms
- Manage team-store and fundraising events
- Disseminate materials and enforce rules and regulations
- Coordinate with Athletic Administration on seasonal meetings and events
