K-5 Teachers

Teach K-5 students in a classroom setting, implementing school board policy and curriculum, and managing classroom procedures and student behavior. Develop instructional outcomes, design coherent instruction, and assess student progress. Foster a positive learning environment and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with student teaching experience
• Three years of verified contracted teaching experience with a Bachelor's degree and a valid teaching license in Nevada
• Knowledge of child development, behavior, and characteristics of students, subject area and/or credential area of teaching
• Effective teaching skills, planning and organizing, supervision and control, assessment and diagnosis, and interpersonal relations
