Job Description
We are seeking to hire a Mainframe Programmer Analyst with Cobol, DB2, and JCL programming experience. The role involves conducting analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of business requirements for the core commercial claims systems. Responsibilities include devising logical procedures to resolve business problems, formulating scope and objectives, and designing and testing complex application programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related field
- 6 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience
- COBOL, DB2, JCL and mainframe
- Nice to Have: Native CICS, IMS DB, Experience in Health Care/Insurance industries
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees across IT
