Assistant Actuary position at Corebridge Financial, responsible for furthering actuarial career, working with senior leaders, and supporting model development and testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or other quantitative fields.
- 2+ years of progressively more responsible actuarial experience with Life & Retirement Insurance product preferred.
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries designation preferred, but not required.
- Experience with various valuation frameworks, including Bermuda EBS, US STAT, CFT, and GAAP preferred.
- Experience with Moody's AXIS preferred.
- Highly detailed oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office especially Access and Excel.
- Programming skill in SQL and VBA is required. C# and XML experience preferred but not required.
