We are seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Employment & Litigation to support all of the Corebridge Financial business units and functions. This position requires a high degree of independence, judgment, and the ability to provide strategic and clear business-minded counsel to internal clients in Human Resources (HR) as well as Business and Functional partners.
Requirements
- J.D. Degree and a minimum of 6 years of employment law experience, including experience at a major law firm
- Subject matter expertise across a broad range of labor and employment laws
- Strong analytical skills; ability to identify multiple courses of action, navigate corporate structure/process and make risk-based recommendations
- Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with capability to multi-task and shift priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
