Job Description
Corenic Construction Group is seeking a Senior Estimator for their Estimating/Pre-Con department. The Senior Estimator gathers, calculates and compiles data for use in conceptual/bid proposal estimates, preparing routine estimates under general supervision. In this role, the candidate will carry out essential duties and key responsibilities, including formatting bids, reviewing bid documents, creating pre bid RFIs, analyzing drawings, and transmitting Requests for Proposal RFPs to subcontractors.
Requirements
- Four-year degree or related experience in Construction Management or similar field and at least 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior demonstrated experience with estimating base building, commercial/interior
- Ability to navigate specifications and plans
- Proficiency in reviewing RFIs/RFPs
- Ability to estimate multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of the latest building codes and permit requirements per jurisdiction
- Close attention to detail
- Strong math skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience with Bluebeam and MS Office
