CoreWeave is seeking a Director of Engineering, Security Products to lead the engineering teams building our identity, authorization, and encryption platforms. In this highly technical and strategic role, you will define and execute the roadmap for security products that underpin customer trust and enable regulated AI workloads at scale.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering building and operating production services.
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including directly managing other managers and scaling multi-team organizations.
- Proven track record of delivering security, identity, or encryption-related products (e.g., IAM, SSO, KMS, HSM, workload identity, security platforms) at a cloud provider, security company, or large-scale SaaS.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems with high availability, strong correctness requirements, and clear operational ownership.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts such as authentication, authorization, least privilege, encryption at rest and in transit, and audit logging.
- Familiarity with common compliance and security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, HIPAA) and how they translate into product and architectural requirements.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with Product Management and Security/Compliance teams to prioritize trade-offs and ship customer-facing platform capabilities.
- Experience building and mentoring diverse, inclusive, and high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering building and operating production services.
