CoreWeave is looking for a customer-value focused Engineering Manager to lead the evolution of CoreWeave AI Object Storage's (CAIOS) security posture. The role involves building a world-class engineering team, leading the development of CAIOS' authentication, authorization, key management, and encryption functions, and contributing to the development of exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage optimized for inference and training workloads.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams
- 5+ years of hands-on software or infrastructure engineering
- 3+ years of security engineering experience
- Expertise in storage technologies such as Ceph, Lustre, MinIO, GPUDirect Storage, or similar distributed/cloud storage systems
- Experience with authentication, authorization, key management, encryption at rest and in flight
- Expertise in observability systems for metrics, logs, and tracing
- Experience working on publicly accessible web services at scale
- Strong understanding of performance tuning, fault tolerance, and change management
- Experience working in high-scale, low-latency environments (preferably in cloud, HPC, or AI/ML infrastructure contexts)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Proven ability to attract, retain, and grow world-class engineering talent
