Job Description
Professional Coding Auditor & Educator will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliant reimbursement. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing clinical documentation, educating departments on regulations, and auditing providers on documentation and coding.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Active CPC or CCS Certification from AAPC or AHIMA
- 3+ years of hands-on auditing experience
- Professional billing experience in urgent Care or multi-specialty environment
- Direct experience educating physicians/providers on documentation and coding requirements
- Experience using coding resources/tools (e.g., AMA guidelines, payer policies, online resources)
