The Facility Controls Technician will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and other electrical and mechanical components.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience as an Automation / Controls Technician (or similar role in industrial automation or building systems.)
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.)
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, PROFIBUS)
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and mechanical systems
- Strong communication skills
