Job Description
Join Corning, a world-leading innovator in glass, ceramic, and materials science, as a Polymer Materials Engineering Technician. Assist in testing and qualification of polymer materials for optical connector/hardware components and assemblies. Collaborate with production teams, analyze material properties, and ensure quality, safety, and performance of Corning optical connectivity products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Technology, or a related field
- Fluent English and French language skills (written and spoken)
- Understanding of polymer properties, material science, and processing techniques
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and equipment
- Analytical skills to interpret test results, solve technical problems, and optimize material properties
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with global teams
