Job Description
Corning is hiring a Coating Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations at its Advanced Optics facility in Fairport, New York. This is a full time, onsite role supporting second shift operations (approximately 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM) with less than 5% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Science discipline
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production support environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of statistical methods (Six Sigma, DOE, SPC)
