Join Corning as a Product Line Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive product line strategy to drive sustained sales growth and profitability. The role will expand the product line into a significant growth opportunity in North America by increasing channel access, diversifying customer accounts, and strengthening engagement with external partners and key end customers.
Requirements
- Develop and execute the product line strategy based on market requirements, competitive positioning, and differentiation opportunities
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Development, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to achieve strategic objectives
- Own supply and demand planning through the SIOP process
- Develop short- and long-term forecasts and deliver financial commitments to Corporate
- Balance customer requirements with operational and manufacturing capabilities
- Identify, justify, and execute capacity investments to support long-term demand
- Drive products from concept through commercialization and end-of-life
- Optimize pricing structures, including floor pricing and premium positioning
- Partner with Account Management to develop compelling customer value propositions
- Evaluate new product requests through robust business case and ROI analysis
- Define and execute intellectual property and industry standards strategies
- Collaborate with the Standards organization to influence market direction and establish competitive advantage
- Build the next generation of leaders in Product Line Management and adjacent functions
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and development guidance to team members and cross-functional partners
