Sr Controls Engineer

Corning is seeking a Sr Controls Engineer to join their Divisional Engineering Global Equipment team. The role involves providing electrical and controls engineering expertise for new equipment and system introductions, process improvements, and cost reduction projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5+ years of electrical / controls experience with Machine vision system, programming PLCs and HMIs, and Robotics (Fanuc)
• Ability to perform a machine safety risk assessment
• 2+ years experience with AutoCAD or E-Plan
• Omron, Allen Bradley (AB) PLC and HMI programming skills
• Ability to travel globally (Mexico, Poland, and China at a minimum)
