Senior Accountant

The accounting division for a family-owned group of waste disposal and recycling companies is hiring a Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations across multiple locations. This role combines hands-on financial work with staff leadership and collaboration with ownership.

Requirements

• Waste & recycling industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience supervising direct reports
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Proficient in MS Office, especially advanced Excel
