Director, Healthcare Compliance

Role Overview

Denali Therapeutics is recruiting a Compliance Counsel to support the organization's commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance. The role will oversee compliance initiatives related to Fair Market Value (FMV) payments, Transfer of Value reporting, price transparency reporting, auditing/monitoring, investigations, training, and policy development.

What You Will Do

The Compliance Counsel will oversee the FMV assessment process, Transfer of Value reporting, and price transparency reporting. They will also implement auditing and monitoring programs, lead internal investigations, and conduct risk-based compliance assessments.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Active California bar membership in good standing
• Typically 10 years of overall work experience
• 5+ years of compliance or regulatory experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and global healthcare compliance regulations
• Experience with FMV assessments, Transfer of Value reporting, price transparency regulations, and industry compliance best practices
• Experience designing and delivering compliance training programs
• Strong investigative skills with experience in auditing, monitoring, and risk management
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
