Job Description
The Distribution Lineman is any position from Groundman through Journeyman. Placement is based on skill level which is assessed by an indoor and outdoor interview.
Requirements
- Installs, maintains, and operates the electric distribution system.
- Operates utility vehicles, including bucket trucks, digger trucks, boom trucks, and other specialized equipment and machinery used in the electric industry.
- Attends safety, classroom and field training provided by CoServ.
- Maintains vehicles and tools as assigned.
- Complies with established CoServ safety and operating rules, procedures and guidelines.
- Maintains daily timesheet.
- Reports hazards, injuries, illnesses, property damage and near misses to their supervisor.
