Job Description
The Data Scientist role is responsible for turning ideas into actionable business value for Costello Medical and clients by shaping and advancing data science services. The role involves leading cross-team initiatives, expanding machine learning/AI offerings, managing databases, and driving ideas forward to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience working in a professional data science role in the healthcare sector
- A degree level or higher qualification in a STEM discipline (minimum 2.1)
- Expertise in programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL, HTML, CSS, Flask, SQL)
- Experience with the application of machine learning models and algorithms
- Knowledge and application of natural language processing techniques
- Excellent data visualisation skills
