Job Description
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) role at Cottage Medical Group (CMG) provides direct patient care within the clinic. This involves assessing, interpreting, and integrating patient findings to develop appropriate management plans. The APP works independently and collaboratively with supervising physicians, focusing on patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Master’s degree or certificate from a specialized medical training program.
- Valid California license as a Physician Assistant.
- National certification granted after passing the PA National Certifying Exam.
- Valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license - DEA Schedule 2-5; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers.
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- California Licensure and Certificate to practice as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the California State Board.
- Knowledge of Epic software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
