Job Description
The European Court of Human Rights is seeking a Portuguese-speaking Assistant to provide administrative support to its Registry's case-processing lawyers. The successful candidate will work in an Administrative Support Team (AST) and will be responsible for processing judgments, drafting correspondence, and using applications databases. The AST provides administrative support to various legal units, organised by country, and the successful candidate will receive comprehensive training on arrival.
Requirements
- hold a diploma equivalent to at least two years of post-secondary education
- have at least one year's recent professional experience directly related to the nature of the support functions
- have an excellent knowledge of Portuguese (first language level)
- have a very good knowledge of one of the Council of Europe's official languages (English/French)
- be a citizen of one of the member states of the Council of Europe
- be under the age of 65 years
