Job Description
The Council of Europe is seeking a Programme Manager - Human Rights in Local and Regional Democracy to provide advice and prepare country profiles, background documentations, and briefing papers, as well as compilation of European Court of Human Rights case-law in relation with local and regional authorities of 46 member States.
Requirements
- hold a higher education degree or qualification equivalent to a master’s degree in human rights law
- have at least three years of professional experience relating to human rights and fundamental freedoms, international relations
- have very good knowledge of one of the two official languages of the Council of Europe (English or French) and a good knowledge of the other (French or English)
- be a citizen of one of the member States of the Council of Europe
