Counterpart International is seeking a Chief of Party for the Participación CÃvica Project in Guatemala. The project aims to strengthen civil society organizations to address accountable governance, transparency, and citizen security issues.
Requirements
- Master's degree in transparency, public administration, public procurement, open budget processes, and financial management, or a related field
- 12 years of senior management experience in high politically sensitive projects
- Sensitivity towards inclusion issues, such as gender analysis and integration of activities to close gender gaps
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with civil society and host government in politically charged contexts
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, constructive engagement, stakeholder mapping, political-economic analysis, donor relations, and previous experience in managing complex USG or bilateral donor-funded projects
- Knowledge of USAID development approaches and understanding of USAID rules and regulations and mandatory reporting requirements
- Excellent public speaking and writing skills in English and Spanish, with fluency in both languages required
