Job Description
Counterpart International is seeking a Driver for the USAID-funded Promoting Advocacy & Rights (PAR) project in Bangladesh. The driver will report to the Human Resources, Office and Security Manager. The Driver position will be based in Dhaka.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of prior driving experience for international/national NGO /development program
- Current valid driver’s license for the class of vehicle and safe driving record for at least 5 years
- Skilled to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Good communication skills; friendly personality
- Familiarity with Bangladesh roads/geography/regions/provinces
- Minimum of post primary education level completed (with certificate)
- Oral and written knowledge of English and local languages is required
- Elementary knowledge of mechanics required
- Good fitness (physical condition)
- Willingness to work long or unusual hours/week-ends unexpectedly in order to meet goals and objectives
- Bangladesh citizenship is required
