Job Description
Country Visions Cooperative is looking to hire a full-time Agronomy Mechanic- Applicator/ Driver for our Chilton, WI location. The role will involve mechanical and electrical maintenance of agricultural application equipment, operating self-propelled equipment to make fertilizer and/or chemical applications, and making deliveries to farms. Additional hours worked during peak seasons is expected.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of prior mechanic experience
- Valid Class A CDL is preferred but not required
- Possess a Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide Operators license or ability to obtain one
- Clean driving record is required
- Thorough knowledge of agronomic crop production practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Adapt to interruption and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Problem solving skills
- Computer skills adequate to operate equipment field computers
