Job Description
Our hire is an addition to staff who will obtain criminal history information through use of Pennsylvania Justice Network (JNET) and National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) for witnesses, victims, and suspects for criminal cases generated within the District Attorney's Office.
Requirements
- Associate degree in related field or possess equivalent or greater experience working with JNET and Pennsylvania sentencing guidelines
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Pennsylvania Statutes Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses), Title 35 (The Controlled Substances, Drugs, Device, and Cosmetic Act), Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure)
- Aptitude to collect, research, and interpret information
- English language skills sufficient to communicate clearly with customers in writing and verbally
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with frequent change and the need to meet regular deadlines
- Proficient skills with e-mail, Internet, spreadsheet, and word processing applications
