We are looking for a Senior Principal, Data Governance and Compliance Monitoring to join our team. As a Lead for Data Retention and Compliance Monitoring, you will design frameworks, monitor adherence, and collaborate across Legal, IT, and business units to mitigate risks and maintain compliance integrity.
Requirements
- Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain a robust framework for document retention review and compliance monitoring aligned with global regulatory standards.
- Policy & Procedure Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, update, and enforce internal data retention policies and procedures.
- Document Evaluation & Action: Execute systematic data reviews using advanced e-discovery techniques, keyword searches, and metadata analysis to ensure adherence to retention periods.
- Investigative Data Analytics & Forensics: Perform deep-dive analysis on large datasets to detect patterns of non-compliance, anomalies, and potential risks related to data retention.
- Compliance Monitoring: Continuously monitor document retention practices to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal and compliance stakeholders to integrate new or updated regulatory requirements for data retention into the compliance framework and ensure integration with monitoring process.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance organizational awareness of data retention policies and best practices.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting compliance status, risk areas, and actionable recommendations.
