Resident Associate

Resident Associate performs direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and assists residents in all activities of daily living.

Requirements

• Assist residents in all activities of daily living, to include bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, personal hygiene and ambulation
• Complete necessary forms
• Assist with taking resident weights and vital signs
• Report any abnormal findings
• Attend required in-service education
• Housekeeping of resident suites and common areas
• Completes residents personal laundry and community linens
• Assists in dining areas, activities and orientation on new residents
• Follows appropriate Infection Control and Safety Practices
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors
